Protected passwords
Stored as a hash (scrypt), never in plain text. Repeated attempts are blocked.
Revocable sessions
Changing your password signs out your other devices. Any session can be closed remotely.
Strict isolation
Every request checks the organization, the space and the shares. A file you cannot access is presented as non-existent.
Encrypted secrets
Two-step verification keys and public links are encrypted with AES-256 in the database.

Strict content security policy, protection against forged requests, HTTPS only.

Frequently asked questions
Where is our data hosted?
During the pilot, on the servers of our hosting provider Namecheap, located in the United States. Hosting in the European Union is planned before general availability. Your files are never analyzed for advertising or shared with third parties.
Can administrators read my personal files?
No. Your personal space is only accessible to you and to the people you explicitly share with. Administrators manage members, not private content.
Can I edit a Word or Excel document in the browser?
Not yet. During the pilot, you open the file in your usual software (LibreOffice, included in Halveo OS, or Microsoft Office), then upload the new version: the previous one stays in the history. Online editing is planned.
What happens after the pilot?
We will offer a simple per-user price, announced in advance. If you decide not to continue, we help you retrieve all your files.
Do I need Halveo OS?
No. Halveo Drive works in any recent browser, on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iPhone.
